Fraktur

Johannes Guteberg created blackletter or fraktur a child system in 1440. Gutenberg was a German blacksmith, goldsmith, printer and publisher who introduced printing to Europe. Blackletter was an effiecent system for attaching movable letters to a printing press it also used Gutenburgs bible and books. Blackletter has dramatic thin and tick strokes.
